도트 매트릭스는 정보를 디스플레이하기 위해서 간판 등에 많이 사용되는 제품입니다.
본 제품은 8x8 RGB LED 매트릭 - 컨트롤러 제품으로 60mm x 60mm 크기의 RGB LED 매트릭스와 컨트롤러가 포함되어 있는 제품입니다.
8x8 RGB LED 매트릭스는 많은 어플리케이션에서 흔히 사용되지만 동작시키기 위해서는 많은 디지털 핀이 필요하고 동작 소프트웨어도 복잡하다는 것이 단점인데, 본 제품은 그러한 문제를 해결하였습니다.
본 제품의 컨트롤러를 이용하면 RGB LED 매트릭스를 단 3개의 선을 사용하여 SPI 인터페이스를 통해 제어할 수 있습니다.
본 제품은 daisy-chain형식으로 서로 연결이 가능하여 수직 및 수평으로 동시에 연결이 가능합니다.
고속으로 데이터 전송이 가능하게 하여 디스플레이의 refresh rate를 개선하였습니다.
아두이노 라이브러리가 제공됩니다.
