Bluetooth Mate Gold는 판매하고 있는 BlueSMiRF 모뎀과 매우 비슷한 제품이지만 특별히 Arduino Pro와 LilyPad Arduino시리즈를 위해 디자인되었습니다.
본 제품은 무선 시리얼 연결을 생성하게 하여 주어 유선 시리얼 케이블 대치용으로 훌륭하게 사용이 가능합니다.
2400-115200bps의 시리얼 스트림 데이터가 무선으로 끊김없이 전송 가능하며 개활지 기준으로 약 100m가량 통신이 되는 것을 확인하였습니다.
Bluetooth Mate는 FTDI Basic과 같은 핀맵을 가지고 있어 Arduino Pro, Pro Mini, LilyPad 메인보드에 직접 꼽아 사용할 수 있습니다. (Bluetooth Mate를 FTDI Basic에 연결하여 사용하고자 할경우는 TX/RX를 바꾸어야 합니다.)
본 제품에는 RN-41 class 1 블루투스 모듈이 탑재되어 있습니다. 제품의 사용을 위해서 모듈의 데이터쉬트와 명령어들을 확인하여 보십시오.
Bluetooth Mate에는 보드사아에 전압 레귤레이터가 있어 3.3-6VDC의 전원을 사용이 가능합니다. RX/TX핀은 3-6VDC 사용이 가능합니다.
본 제품을 컴퓨터의 시리얼 포트에는 직접 장착하지 마십시오. 컴퓨터에 장착하고자 할 경우에는 RS232-TTL 변환 회로(혹은 USB-UART)가 필요합니다.
Note: The hardware reset pin of the RN-41 module is broken out on the bottom side of the board. This pin is mislabeled as 'PIO6', it is actually PIO4. Should you need to reset the Mate, pull this pin high upon power-up, and then toggle it 3 times.
