The Stemma QT SHIM for Raspberry Pi is a small, easy to disassemble splitter that easily adds a 4-pin JST SH pin (Stemma QT or) connector to your Raspberry Pi. The SHIM design allows you to directly plug into Pi's I2C bus without welding, while the thin PCB design allows it to be clamped to your Pi GPIO with other valve covers or caps! SHIM is very useful if you want to easily add connectors to Pi without welding.
SHIM uses a unique friction based connector to wedge itself into GPIO connectors for safe, solderless connections. It has a JST SH connector that can be connected to Pi's I2C bus (SDA, SCL, 5V, and ground). SHIM also has a 3.3V voltage regulator, making it suitable for use with all Stemma QT devices.
