본 제품은 ATmega32u4를 탑재한 보드로 아두이노 레오나르도 호환보드이자 라즈베리 파이용 쉴드입니다.
라즈베리 파이는 리눅스 운영체제를 탑재한 고성능의 싱글보드 컴퓨터이지만, 운영체제 특성상 아두이노와 같이 실시간 빠른 응답 반응 속도를 가지기는 어렵습니다.
본 제품은 라즈베리파이에 쉴드 형태로 장착하여 라즈베리와 아두이노 레오나르도가 서로 통신하며 서로의 장단점을 보완하여 사용할 수 있게 디자인한 제품입니다.
라즈베리 파이를 이용하여 작은 모니터에 정보를 디스플레이하고 무선통신이나, 이미징, 복잡한 알고리즘을 처리시키고, 아두이노에는 실시간으로 빠른 피드백이 필요한 일들(예를 들어 장애물 회피를 위한 모터 제어)를 처리 시킬 수 있습니다.
